Some CHEWY TOMATO!
Marcus Hadlock and I started a crazy fun illustration/design studio called "Chewy Tomato."
We even have a soccer team named after us now!

Shading in Photoshop
Marcus found a pretty sweet tutorial that taught us how to shade in photoshop...
basically you start with a blob / rough sketch and keep adding 20% opacity brush strokes to work on details. You then smooth out the rough parts with the "smudge" tool.
